Our goal is to provide an interesting and inspiring resource for publishing professionals, illustration students and graduates, and anyone else with a passion for picturebooks and a curiosity about the different approaches taken to make them.

The Picturebook Makers resource is run by dPICTUS – a small company founded in the South of England by brothers Sam McCullen (illustrator, writer and designer) and Jon McCullen (designer and web developer). dPICTUS is a curated online platform for outstanding picturebooks, where publishers and agents promote their new releases and backlist titles, secure foreign rights deals, and make new international publishing connections.
